Trade for a Sprinfield 1911 Loaded?
I am going to trade my Kimber Ultra Carry II (with extras, night sights, and laser grips) for another gun. I have had offers for a Springfield 1911 Loaded model with night sights and laser grips and also an offer for a flat top Bushmaster AR15. Are either of these fair deals? Which would be the best deal?
the kimber is an awful nice .45, why trade it for another 1911?
The springfield basic model 1911-A1 lists for $425 new in box, The springfield 1911 loaded (various models) runs from $900 to $1125 new.
The bushmaster, even if it is a competition or target model lists new for between $800 and $900 on average, a little higher in some areas. (gun digest book of guns and prices 2008 edition)
