Fly Tying Hair
Jump roping with really long hair problem?
I'm an avid walker/jogger, but I've decided to take up jump roping instead in inclement weather. I was all xcited for it & stuff, until I actually began roping, & realized that my very long hair- past my waist, was more than in the way, even in a ponytail, as it'd keep hitting the rope. I have done SO MAny different ways in tying it up, down, diagonally, in front, to the side, bun, double it, whatever, & my hair will either fall on the 5th jump, start pulling painfully on the roots, or will be bouncing about very annoyingly in a huge bun on my shoulder. Does anyone know of any effective way for keeping hair out of the way, preferably in a way compatible with jump roping specifically? Or is there perhaps a way to learn how to handle both flying hair & rope?
Any advice/suggestions appreciated! Thanx!
try braiding your hair before you pull it in a bun so the stray hairs won't come out while your moving
