What are Catskill Style Dry and Wet Flies?
My friend and I are doing a science fair project that determines the best product to use on a bird's feathers to remove oil on them. In order to do this we need to find some bird feathers. We found a website that sells the (http://www.baxterhouseflyshop.com/servlet/the-Fly-Tying-cln-Tying-Materials-cln-Feathers--fdsh--bulk/Categories), but we don't know if its a legitimate site or real feathers. In the description for the small/medium duck feathers it says they are used for "Catskill Style Dry and Wet Flies" and since neither of us have knowledge on this topic we don't know what these are or what type of feathers or normally used for them (real or fake)
go into the woods, get some feathers, return, viola!
